Pioneering Detroit techno legends Octave One are ready to release some new music under their alias Random Noise Generation with an album out this Friday titled Endustry. We are proud to bring you a new single from the record titled “Crank” for you today.

As you might expect from the duo and this alias, they are not messing around with this record. “Crank” delivers powerful, earth-shattering techno that has a strong mechanical sound to it, using basslines that sound like they were made in a Detroit factory. Its melodic elements are deep, echoing and cavernous, almost as if they were pulled out of a dark cellar and mashed together with this powerful bassline.

Their new album Endustry comes from their time on the road and the inspiration they got from there.

"We've been touring so much that we decided to bring extra gear with us so we could record on the road. We were finding inspiration from city to city, country to country,” explains the duo. “We composed tracks that we could play during our live sets, reflecting the influences from our road life as well as the world we were living in in general. Finally, Endustry was born from this."

Stream the new single below and get ready for Endustry on Friday, April 27 via 430 West. Pre-order it here. The duo will also be heading out on tour all spring and summer for gigs in Europe and North America. Head to their website for details on tour dates and ticket info.
