Lightning In A Bottle is reportedly being sued over the death of an attendee at the festival in 2017. The suit comes at an inconvenient time as it starts up later today and will run through Memorial Day Weekend in Lake San Antonio, California.

The lawsuit alleges that 20-year-old Baylee Gaitlin did not receive proper medical attention for hours after she became sick from possible drug use at the festival according to KSBY. They also go on to allege that the festival did not have qualified medical personnel on site.

The lawsuit states that Gatlin died last May from dehydration, hyperthermia and multi-organ failure.

The promoter Do Lab is named as the primary defendant.

When reached about the lawsuit, Do Lab said they have "no comment at this time."
