The best of May 2018 tech-house releases are here to set the tone for your summer season and to showcase an array of possible candidates for the best summer tracks of 2018. Start lining your playlist with these marvelous remixes and fresh cuts because summer anthem season is upon us! 

1. 'Born Slippy (Reincarnation Mix)' - Andrew Meller [Glasgow Underground]

The infamous British electronic group, Underworld, comes back to life with a fresh remix of their single, 'Born Slippy.' The single gained its popularity after its appearance in the cult classic movie, Trainspotting! This massive remix has been the secret weapon for many of the biggest DJs out there and now it has made its way back as one of the biggest tunes of the moment. 

2. 'Body Jack (Franky Rizardo Remix)' - Max Chapman [Elrow Music]

Elrow has invited some of the greatest tech-house producers of the moment to remix some of their best tracks and has released a celebratory VA called Elrow Remixed Pt. 1. On here we are putting the spotlight on ‘Body Jack’ by Max Chapman, remixed by Franky Rizardo

3. You Want More - George Privatti, Guille Placencia [La Pera Records]

Partners in crime, Privatti, and Placencia bring us another tech-house groove that will hit dancefloors around the world. ‘You Want More’ has a perfect break with outstanding vocals that will bring up the energy. No doubt this track will top the tech-house charts this summer.

4. 'Primewire' - Oscar L [Truesoul]

Oscar L is back to Truesoul records with the Multiplayer EP. This time around, he brings a triple dose of tech-house jams. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the EP with a strong dose of deep groovy bassline and skillful drums driven by analog rhythms. A standout track in any DJ's catalog. 

5. 'Viva la viva' - Kreature [ViVa Limited]

Get loose with the timbales of this playful track. Feel the skillful percussion and dance beat within the groove. An enchanting work that comes out on the well-known, VIVa Limited label.

6. 'Disc-Jockey' - David Penn, KPD [Urbana Recordings]

Reputed house music producer, David Penn teams up with up & coming DJ/producer, KDP to release what could be the next summer hit. With charming soulful vocals and a groove that will get that booty shaking all Summer long. 

7.  'Something Goin On (Sonny Wharton Remix)' - Todd Terry, Roland Clark, Jocelyn Brown [Phoenix Music]

Todd Terry’s late 90’s classic house track made it to this chart through a stunning remix by Sonny Wharton. Claimed to be one the best new producers, Sonny Wharton built up the energy of 'Something Going On' by adding a crunchy bassline and crisp snares mixed with snipped vocals from a prominent duo, Roland Clark and Jocelyn Brown.

8. 'Groove In Puerto Rico' - DJ Oliver [Wired]

Released by Wired Records and exclusively on, 'Groove In Puerto Rico' has all the elements to be one of the top tracks of the summer. It has a clean and bouncy groove rolled with catchy synth riffs and sharp vocals. A must-have track to your playlist.

12. 'Creepwalker (Dirrtydishes Remix)' - Daniel Jaeger [Heinz Music]

Based in Berlin, Heinz Music always provides high-quality sounds and this time it won’t be different. Their latest release is the Creepwalker EP by prodigy Daniel Jaeger. Dirrtydishes’s version works great on the dancefloor and will get the crowd going.

13. 'Dance to Dance' - Paolo Martini [Paul’s Boutique]

Paolo Martini is one of the most prolific producers in the dance music scene, and this time he brings us a “feel-good” track. 'Dance to Dance' offers animated beats that dance along with chopped vocals resulting in a perfect summer-vibe track. 

14. 'La Noche' - Alexander Aurel [Lapsus Mmusic]

The talented German producer, Alexander Aurel debuts on Lapsus Music with 'La Noche'. The track is packed with melodic vocals and tight rolling grooves. A song perfect to for a midsummer night's dream. 

15. 'Subati' - Oliver Koletski, Nico Schwind [Stil Vor Talent]

Oliver Koletski and Nico Schwind secluded themselves in nature within beautiful South Africa, where they put together their new album, Noordhoek released this past month on Stil Vor Talent. 'Subati' is the second track of this amazing album that is worth listening in whole for every second of the sublime tribe influenced rhythms.
