iZotope's VocalSynth 2 is the most advanced vocoder plugin on the market. It features a myriad of layers, textures, effects, blending, and morphing. VocalSynth 2 offers five unique, state-of-the-art tools that include hundreds of presets for an earth-shattering quality result. It's nearly impossible to get a bad result.

“In its first iteration, VocalSynth was a go-to for getting the creative vocal effects music producers know and love inspired by decades of vocal production styles,” says Kim Pfluger, Product Marketing Manager at iZotope. "VocalSynth 2 builds on this by incorporating user feedback and pushing boundaries into a fun, new space of what vocal plug-ins can do to shape new sounds in vocal production.”

VocalSynth 2 has endless possibilities

VocalSynth 2 allows users across a multitude of genres to express their creativity. There's a preset or creative module for all creatives, including rock, pop, and rap. Additionally, users can apply VocalSynth 2's effects on individual instruments, which supplies them with endless possibilities.

The modules that come with VocalSynth 2 include BioVox, Vocoder, CompuVox, Talkbox, and PolyVox. In addition to the modules, iZotope packed in seven stompbox-style effects, including distort, filter, transform, shred, delay, ring mod, and chorus.

In addition to the powerful modules and stompbox-style effects, iZotope packed in the Anemone, a "colorful animation that moves and grows with the shape of your audio signal," states iZotope on the VocalSynth 2 product page. "Driven by an advanced spectral analysis that reacts to the sonic characteristic of vowels, the Anemone blends fun interaction with a unique metering experience."

VocalSynth 2 has three different ways to interact with it

With VocalSynth 2, you're provided with three separate modes: Auto, MIDI, and Sidechain. With the Auto mode, the plugin will lock your vocals into key with real-time pitch correction, generate additional voices and harmonies, and seamlessly blend your module settings. MIDI mode allows the user to creatively control your pitch and create custom harmonies as you play. Sidechain mode provides you the ability to input your own audio, which will act as the "carrier."

You can purchase VocalSynth 2 for $199 or the Creative Suite for $499, which includes VocalSynth 2, Iris 2, BreakTweaker, Trash 2, Stutter Edit, Mobius Filter, and DDLY Dynamic Delay. You can also purchase the plugin through Splice's Rent-To-Own program for $9.99/mo.
