A Led Zeppelin vinyl leads the way for Discogs most expensive releases in May 2018. The record in question is the 2006 Classic Records compilation Led Zeppelin, which sold for $4,836.00. About 750 copies of the limited-edition, 45rpm, 200-gram, 44xLP, road case enclosed compilation were originally retailed for around $750, but now sell for a much higher price.

The rest of the top five features some other pretty rare records like Vashti Bunyan Just Another Diamond Day, Necros Sex Drive, The Professionals “That’s Why I Love You / Did My Baby Call” and then 94 East featuring Prince “Be My Fortune Teller / I Just Wanna Be.”

The top 30 leans heavy on late 60s to the early 80s with a lot of soul, funk and rock. Those old pressings can be worth a lot of money. Number 30 on the list even pulled in $1,300.
