Elrow resident DJ, De La Swing is stepping out from the DJ booth and into your speakers with a new single “Face To Face,” taken from an EP with the same name on the event brand’s in-house label. The Enter The Rave rework takes the track to that next level and we are proud to bring it to you today.

The Enter The Rave rework meshes rave and tech house. It captures the sound you would expect from someone on Elrow with strong and sturdy tech-house, however there are some club elements in the middle and then acid dripped onto the record for that ravey feel.

“I like to start from the scratch with every track and try to make different styles and sounds. In ‘Face To Face’ I started to jam with a 909 beat and the bassline, which was made with Novation Basstation,” explains De La Swing. “I love the workflow of hardware machines. It is more creative and you have more freedom than making music in the box. When I had a solid groove I looked for some vocal samples and I found that one talking about enter the rave, then all the elements together worked well and the rest is history.”

There is a lot of boring tech-house out there that we get in our inboxes, but one easily finds a way to stand out from that pack.

The Face To Face EP will be released with the Enter The Rave Rework, a Shaf Huse remix of “Face To Face” and then another tune “Dihue.” Pick up the record here.
