Spanish techno DJ UNER will release a new EP (a single with two remixes) tomorrow titled Wonderland and we are happy to premiere for you today the title track and single “Wonderland,” done with Alex Kennon. Releasing on UNER’s label Solar Distance, this project is a little different and special to him. He is teaming up with Bridges for Music to donate all proceeds from the EP to the charity.
The single is a blissful journey into a musical wonderland led by these two. It kicks off with piano and soft percussion, before slowly building in with fluttering arpeggiated synths and a steady vocal chant echoing in the background. It is a smooth, blissful ride from start to finish.
The tune is being done for Bridges for Music; a non-profit connecting key players in electronic music to support music education and social issues impacting disadvantaged communities around the world.
“It was a while ago when I met Valentino for the very first time and he is doing an incredible job with Bridges for Music. We were working together in 2014 when we did the Cycle to Amsterdam alongside Resident Advisor and I thought this record would be the perfect opportunity to do something together again,” explains UNER to Magnetic. “I’m very happy to be part of a project that supports such an amazing cause.”
“Music is a universal language that crosses boundaries and promotes interconnectedness, and that's the power we aim to harness at Bridges for Music to make an impact in underprivileged communities,” says Valentino Barrioseta of Bridges For Music. “This release represents all of that and we are very happy to work with UNER again to promote the cause and generate some funding for our program in South Africa.”
“Wonderland” will arrive with remixes from Fernando Lagreca and Lower tomorrow, July 20.
