Back in June, Theo Kottis took over the Global Underground Nubreed compilation series for the 11th release in its history. Now he is boosting the compilation with a fresh remix from Prins Thomas for “Ciro,” which appeared on the compilation.

The new remix takes the long and soothing proggy track and emphasizes the funk in us all. With a stronger bassline, Thomas goes the nu-disco route with synths that match the jogging percussion and funky bassline. Prins Thomas hails from Asker, Norway and you can hear that Norwegian funk all throughout the record.

“I've been a huge Prins Thomas fan for a while and always supported his music. A really memorable moment for me was dropping his Lauer “Esc” remix to a packed out Fabric room 1,” Kottis says to Magnetic. “I was delighted to hear that he was keen to work on a remix!”
