The Matador Pocket Blanket 2.0

IMG_1466

We've all been there, a music festival, a park, the beach, etc. and no place to sit in comfort. The Pocket Blanket 2.0 is a quick fix for those sketchy patches of grass, sand or dirt, pull it out of your pocket and unfold to a perfect two to four-person ground covering to chill on. The underside of the blanket will keep your asses dry and protected from the elements. Small stakes on each corner of the blanket will help anchor it in place as well, so it doesn't slide all over the place. The only caveat here is that it's a little hard to fold up (especially after a few beers), so just ball it up and take it home for that. Get it at Matodorup.com for $30.

Matador Droplet XL Dry Bag

Are you sensing a theme here? Yes, this bag also scrunches up into a tiny ball that fits comfortably in your bag or can attach via a handy little carabiner. The difference is with this one you can create a dry bag for your gear that you don't want to get wet or for wet gear you don't want mingling with your other equipment. Great for taking to the beach and dumping your damp swimsuit in after a dip or putting your phone and other valuables in while crossing a waterway, etc. Get it at Matadorup.com for $ 39.99.

Matador NanoDry Shower Towel (Large)

Going swimming under that perfect waterfall and don't have a towel to dry off with? This predicament is every adventure travelers nightmare... ok, not really, but it's sure nice to be able to dry off after a swim. The NanoDry Towel pops out of its little carrying case and does the job with ease, so you don't have to air dry. Just like the dry bag, this small case comes with a carabiner to attach to your bag to save you precious pack space. Get it at Matadorup.com for $ 34.99

The RUMPL Shammy Towel

IMG_1488

Leave it to the mad geniuses at RUMPL to come up with the perfect portable towel for your festival/travel adventures. While not as light and compact as the NanoDry, the Shammy makes up for it with its plush soft material and beach towel size. If you can spare a little extra room in your pack and plan on laying around a bit, this towel is your new best friend. It rolls up relatively small, drys quickly and absorbs a lot of liquid so you can take multiple dips and still be good. Plus it looks dope too! Get it at Rumple.com for $60.00

Birkenstock Arizona Essentials

Yup, the Jesus cruisers are back, and they are as excellent as they ever were. No more flippity-flop, now your sandals will stay in place, are water friendly thanks to the all rubber construction and have that legendary Birk comfort. I've always been a hater, but now I totally understand the way of the Birkenstock. So much so that I bought these in leather as well, maybe I'm just getting crunchy, but I'm SO down with these. Wear them to festivals, wear them around town, wear them with jeans, just don't wear them with socks because that's a line that should not be crossed. Get at the Birkenstock site for $40.
