Ray Pollard, David Bowie, The Beatles Lead Discogs Most Expensive Vinyl Sales For July

The top seller went for $2800.

Discogs has revealed the most expensive vinyl sales for the month of July. The top spot is a tie between two quite different items. Rare 7” vinyls of soul singer Ray Pollard's 1965 release of This Time / No More Like Me and cult psych-rock band The-Fly-Bi-Nights' 1967 release of Come On Up / Found Love were both sold for $2,800. David Bowie was just a few dollars behind with The Man Who Sold The World at $2796. The Beatles have two in the top ten as well, one being a factory wrapped version of the 1984 remastered vinyl of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band.

Funk, jazz and rock dominate the full chart as no sale was below $1164. Nearly half of the top 30 sold were in 7" formats. See the full list here.
