Mac Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, has died at the age of 26. According to TMZ, Mac Miller was found around noon at his San Fernando Valley home and pronounced dead at the scene.

Mac Miller was born in Pittsburgh in 1992. He was an integral part of the mixtape wave in the late 2000’s before getting signed to Rostrum Records in 2010. He released his seminal K.I.D.S. mixtape in 2010 and then Best Day Ever, before his first official album Blue Slide Park. Between 2011 and 2015 he kept releasing mixtapes during a label battle, before finding his stride again on GO:OD AM and then The Divine Feminine in 2016. He released his new album Swimming in August.
