August was yet another significant month in house music. Disclosure returned to the scene with five new tunes in five days. Three of them were chart-worthy while the other two weren't so fitting. Other highlights include an amazing update of a Sade classic from Kaz James. Plus, Amine & Edge go garage with their newest outing on DFTD. But most of all, let's not forget the best tune of the month from Rodriguez Jr with his absolutely gorgeous remix of Eli & Fur's "Night Blooming Jasmine."

1. "NIGHT BLOOMING JASMINE (RODRIGUEZ JR. REMIX)" - ELI & FUR [ANJUNADEEP]

Rodriguez Jr.'s spectacular swirling melodies combine forces with the gorgeous vocals of Eli & Fur to make this one of my favorite tunes of the year.

2. "DANCIN'" - AMINE EDGE & DANCE VS CLYDE P [DFTD]

Amine Edge & Dance flat out ditched g-house for this lively garage sound which I can really get behind. Please, guys! Much more of this!!

3. "PARADISE" - KAZ JAMES, NICK MORGAN [GLASGOW UNDERGROUND]

Sade's 30 year old classic, "Paradise" gets a very classy house update from Australian producer, Kaz James and his production partner, Nick Morgan.

4. "IT'S ALRIGHT (DJ SPEN & REELSOUL EXTENDED MIX)" - STERLING VOID FEAT. PARIS BRIGHTLEDGE [TOOLROOM]

Back in 1987, Sterling Void along with Paris Brightledge created this seminal house tune that became an anthem for a generation of ravers that saw house music explode throughout the UK. Over thirty years later, the genre lives on and the tune still echoes throughout clubland so it gets a very deserving three decade remix package stacked form top to bottom with absolute quality including this very soulful rendition courtesy of DJ Spen

5. "SOMETIMES THE GOING GETS A LITTLE TOUGH (FERRECK DAWN & ROBOSONIC EXTENDED REMIX)" - FINN [DEFECTED]

Finn's original was quirky and unique but Ferreck Dawn & Robsonic's take on the tune is classic and organic just the way house music was meant to be.

6. "REAKTOR" - ELAX [DIYNAMIC]

The first of two choons on the chart taken from the latest Four To The Floor series is this ferocious one called "Reaktor." It's an "oh wow" type of tune by a brand new alias from a fairly well-known electro star known as Boys Noize. Very high volume is recommended.

7. "LOST IN SIGHT" - YUNUS GUVENEN [ANJUNADEEP]

Anjunadeep launched the sixth edition of their Exploration series this past month and tucked right in the middle of it was this extremely charming tune titled "Lost In Sight" by Turkish producer, Yunus Guvenen.

8. "PLATES" - ALEX METRIC AND TEN VEN [DIYNAMIC]

Industry veteran, Alex Metric teams up with Ten Ven for three very special productions that each tap into their own classic genre. Especially this progressive magic titled "Plates" which will have you energetically reaching for the sky.

9. "KHOKANA" - ANIMAL PICNIC & NOVAKK  [DIYNAMIC]

Second on the chart from the Four To The Floor series is this three-way, Spanish collaboration between duo Animal Picnic & Novakk.

10. "FUNKY SENSATION" - DISCLOSURE FEAT. GWEN MCCRAE [UNIVERSAL-ISLAND]

Disclosure dished out five new funky ones towards the end of the month including this irresistible, disco groover, "Funky Sensation."

Another one of the five, funky ones from Disclosure is this very warm one they've titled "Moonlight."

12. "WHERE YOU COME FROM" - DISCLOSURE [UNIVERSAL-ISLAND]

The most proper floor tune to come out the five tunes from Disclosure is this tribal-leaning jam which you should not be sitting still to.

13. "NO PLACE (LINDSTROM & PRINS THOMAS REMIX)" - RUFUS DU SOL [REPRISE]

Norwegian production maestros, Lindstrom & Prins Thomas get the honors of remixing the very first single off of Rufus Du Sol's highly-anticipated, full-length, Solace. Their third album which isn't due out until late October so in the meantime, enjoy "No Place" in all it's quirky Norwegian glory.

14. "REALIZE" - STEFAN BRAATZ FEAT. MERWYN SANDERS OF VIRGO FOUR [POKER FLAT]

Who knew acid house could be so sexy!?

15. "FEELIN' LOVELY" - FREDDY BE & SAVI LEON [MONDAY SOCIAL MUSIC]

The second installment of Monday Social Music sees a return from L.A. production duo, Freddy Be & Savi Leon as they take on a well-known vocal snippet from Kendrick Lamar and the result is nothing less than peak-time euphoria.
