Ghostface Killah's "The Los Tapes" is now available on all platforms.

I can't believe how fast summer came and went and as the seasons begin to change again (for everywhere else except LA), the music continues to flow and I am back once again with only the most choice offerings from hip-hop's best and most promising talent. Let's get right into the chart!

1. Kirk Knight - "Run It Back" (Freestyle)

At this point I really can't hide my appreciation for Kirk's music. If he has something new out, you're going to find it on this chart unless it's just absolutely awful. Once again he slaughters this track and I'll say it again, this dude is one of the most talented rappers and producers making music right now. 2019 will be huge for this guy. Just watch...

2. Majid Jordan - All Over You
This duo has been making waves for a couple of years now and "All Over You" is a beautifully produced track with that poppy R&B vibe that people just can't seem to get enough of.  Think of an even more digestible version of The Weekend but with some extra style points that only these two can pull over. They also dropped another track in September "Spirit" which is also worth a spin.

3. Ghostface KIllah ft. Benny The Butcher, KXNG Crooked & 38 Spesh- Buckingham Palace
This is that real East coast hip-hop. Everything from the horns on the beat to that raw gritty Ghost's flow, it's all here! Check out another offering from Ghost's "The Lost Tapes" which dropped on 8/5 right here. Actually just go peep the whole tape here because it's lit as hell!

4. 24HRS - LEGENDS (Larry Fisherman) ft. Club 97 (Prod. by Kabba x AutoLaser x Lastnght)
I still can't believe that we live in a world that doesn't have Mac Miller in it any more. His tribute show in LA sold out in seconds (5K + tickets) and I'm not even slightly surprised. He really was a legend and deserves many more tributes. This one from 24HRS and friends goes pretty hard.

5. Khalid - "Better"
I'm not really sure if Khalid can put out a bad song. "Better" may not be as huge as his previous singles but you'll be hearing this one at shopping malls for quite some time. I'm 100% ok with that.

6. Swizz Beatz - "Pistol On My Side" (P.O.M.S) ft. Lil Wayne
While some fans were disappointed that "P.O.M.S." didn't make the final cut on the Carter V (which is way better than I thought it would be), at least we still get a HQ version of this highly anticipated collab between Swizz and Wayne.

7. Shaqisdope - "Fashion Killa" Feat J.O.Y (Prod.By Luck)

Shaqisdope is another one of those promising rappers that I'm just waiting to really break out. After making some noise in 2017, we haven't really heard too much from him but in September he did drop this vibey track featuring J.O.Y.

8. Pell - "Greyhound"
Young Pell continues to put out quality tracks, this time hitting us with the very chill "Greyhound."

9. Action Bronson - "White Bronco"
America's favorite herb smoking - foodie - mc is back in full effect with latest track "White Bronco." While this joint isn't anything crazy, I would still put a new AB track on any just about any current playlist of mine. I also really dig the jazzy beat which again was made for Bronson's flow.

10. Torae - "Take Notes"
Probably one of the best pure rappers that I've ever had a chance to meet in person, Torae has been MIA from rap for a hot minute. However, he's back now with a new track and it seems like he's picked up right where he left off. His steez is braggadocios which may date him a bit (people aren't really rapping about how great they are at rapping thee days) but this track still bangs and the mix is SUPER clean. I'm happy to have another real spitter back on the chart and hopefully we get more real soon.

11. Cypress Hill - "Locos" feat. Sick Jacken
Some very classic West Coast shit right here! Elephants on Acid, the latest album from Cypress Hill is now available everywhere!

12. Juicy J - Neighbor feat. Travis Scott
Juicy J is working on his new album and this joint featuring Travis Scott could very well end up on the new project. Nothing revolutionary here but it's still perfect for riding around town if you are starting to get over Astroworld already.

13. BADBADNOTGOOD & Little Dragon - "Tired"
Wow this is a fucking masterpiece. Such a soulful and smooth track from two of my favorite hip-hop / indie crossover acts. You could easily say this track has no business on this chart but fuck it! I love it and it's soulful enough for me! You're going to love it anyway so just enjoy!

14. Kodak Black - "If I'm Lyin"
Kodak is out of jail and back on his grind. After proclaiming to his IG followers that the money in his videos is all fake and that he essentially has no money (riiiiight), I'm guessing KB needs to get out all the music he can so he can get his savings account back up to where it needs to be. I'm not trying to hate so let's all just be happy Kodak is home and enjoy this new one from the Florida spitter.

15. Noname - "Self"
The lone female stand out from last month is an artist who I should have been promoting for a long time already. Noname is straight dope. She makes music for real heads that also want to grove and I'm happy to have her close out the chart this month. Her new album Room 25 is fantastic and needs to be on your radar for "Best Projects of 2018."
