The exterior of the jacket is made from a refined stretch-woven textile made for Mission Workshop by Mectex M.I.S. in Como, Italy. It features a smooth face with subtle texture and water repellent (DWR) finish for use in drizzle or light rain.
Under the exterior is a layer of 40 grams high-performance PrimaLoft® Gold Active insulation. Gold Active has a high warmth-to-weight ratio, stretches, and is very breathable.
The jacket is then fully-lined with 37.5® ultra-high-performance moisture management textile. The combination of 37.5 and Primaloft Gold Active creates the perfect environment to keep you warm when it’s chilly outside, but also rapidly dissipate heat when the sun comes out or your heart rate rises. The result is a jacket that performs equally well for much of the year in both London and Los Angeles.
Design details include intricate lower and side panelling devoid of topstitching, low-profile chest pocket, interior snap pocket, classic zippered sleeve pocket with pen slot, and shaped no-rib hem.
The Mission Bomber is designed to be layered with as little as a t-shirt or as much as a woven shirt and sweater for temperatures ranging from 70°F (21°C) to 32°F (0°C)
