The days are turning to hours as we inch closer and closer to the final hours of 2018 and with that comes our top 15 tech-house chart of 2018. Here we go over the last twelve months of hot tracks and compile our cream of the crop to highlight the biggest and hottest tech-house tracks of the up-coming past year. So ring in 2019 with the best of the best of 2018! 

1. ‘LOSING IT’ - FISHER (OZ) [CATCH & RELEASE]

Rapidly rising in the house music scene, Fisher is the breakthrough artist of the year. "Losing It" hit the top of all tech-house charts around the globe, and it has been nominated for "Best Dance Single" in the 2019 Grammys.

2. 'DECEIVER' – GREEN VELVET, CHRIS LAKE [BLACK BOOK RECORDS]

Two dance music legends that have headlined many festivals this year collaborate to deliver an astonishing tech-house track released on Chris Lake’s own label, Black Book Records

3. 'PRAISE YOU' - JOSHWA [GLASGOW UNDERGROUND]

This marvelous remix of Fatboy Slim’s feel-good track has been smashing dancefloors around the planet all year.

4. 'HANGING TREE' - MICHAEL BIBI [REPOPULATE MARS]

This track went straight to the top charts in November 2018. Michael Bibi debuts on Repopulate Mars label with an astonishing remix of James Newton Howard's "The Hanging Tree."

5. 'DEEP DIP' – DAJAE, DETLEF [RELIEF]

The timeless classic club anthem, "Fired Up," from Funky Green Dogs got a stunning new makeover from tech-house master, Detlef, featuring the beautiful voice of Dajae.

6. 'KEEP ON DANCING' – RHOOWAX, IGLESIAS [NO EXCUSE RECORDS]

"Keep On Dancing" swept all the dancefloors in the past summer with its groove and disco, funky sounds. A great track that will keep you dancing for years to come. 

7. ‘SAY SOMETHING’ - NASSER BAKER [CIRCUS RECORDINGS]

"Say Something" has sharp drums that carry the original vocal throughout the track, as a playful narrative. This was one of the best vocal records of the year.

8. ‘SHAKE YOUR BODY’ - GEORGE SMEDDLES [UNDER NO ILLUSION]

"Shake Your Body" has an incomparable groove and it is a perfect example of a dancefloor banger. 

9. ‘BUGGIN’ FEAT. JEM COOKE - HOT SINCE 82 [KNEE DEEP IN SOUND]

This was the first single from Hot Since 82’s recently announced album project. The 8-track concept album is expected to be released in March of 2019.

10. 'RAW RHYTHM' - SIDNEY CHARLES [AVOTRE]

Designed to make you wiggle and jiggle on the dancefloor, "Raw Rhythm" has a punchy bassline played along with gripping vocal snippets.

11. ‘JEORPADIZED’ - SABB [RADIANT]

This afro-influenced track is led by mesmerizing vocals drifting along hypnotic stabs. A remarkable tune that was very well received by all music lovers this year. 

12. ‘THE SUN’ - CHUS & CEBALLOS, DENNIS CRUZ [STEREO PRODUCTIONS] 

This Iberian-style tune was massive this year. As hot as the sun, this track was all over the place, from a vibrant tech-house music party in Ibiza to an underground warehouse in New York City. 

13. ‘TOUCH ME’ - ELI BROWN, MASON MAYNARD [REPOPULATE MARS]

Eli Brown teamed up with Mason Maynard and delivered an upbeat house track beautifully crafted with infectious vocals and thumping basslines. A dancefloor hit that touched many dance-club goers in 2018.

14. FATBOY SLIM - 'RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW' (CAMELPHAT REMIX) [Toolroom]

Another Fatboy Slim's track that went viral this year. Camelphat keep up on their chart-topping ways with this stunning remix of the house classic tune "Right Here, Right Now."  

15. ‘EL SUENO' FEAT. MARTINA CAMARGO - DENNIS CRUZ [MOON HARBOUR RECORDS]

Dennis Cruz showed off his expertise in "El Sueno" featuring Martina Camargo's Spanish vocals. This summer anthem hit all the patios on the white isle and the dancefloors near you.
