Gesaffelstein has finally confirmed what we were all expecting — a new album is on the way. He has announced the follow up to his 2013 LP, Aleph, with his new album Hyperion.
In addition to the new album title name, he also shared the cover art, which is predictably very black, though there is a glimmer of light peaking out from behind it.
More details on the release date and trackless are unknown as of yet, but it will be good to finally have another album from Mike Lévy soon. The announcement was first made at Art Basel with a billboard in Miami.
At the end of November, Gesaffelstein released his first solo single in years, “Reset,” which had the heavy, brooding and dark techno you expect from the Frenchman. The video turned some heads, taking shots at many current SoundCloud rappers.
