Argentine producer and longtime member of Loco Dice’s Desolat label, GUTI, is set to release his third album titled The Year of The Conga. The new album will be released on The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz label.

GUTI wrote the album throughout 2018, starting it on a bullet train in Japan and crafting most of the record in the jungle of the Dominican Republic. He sampled local percussion instruments on the album. The album was finally mixed in Europe.

The album is built for the groove and the dancefloor, as GUTI says, “I’m back to my roots and found my Latino groove again.”

The album will be released on March 29, 2019. “So Dope” has already been released with remixes from The Martinez Brothers, Djebali and Heartthrob. “Red Eye” is the second single, coming on January 25, 2019 and will arrive with remixes from Loco Dice and Priku.
