Griffin and Woolrich have announced a SS19 collaboration comprising of unisex, featherweight pieces and artfully concentrated technology. The brands with operational headquarters at Loveland Farm on the Atlantic coast exalt Woolrich’s soul with a collection comprising unisex and featherweight pieces and artfully concentrated technology.
Griffin produces a unique approach to garment design, mixing fashion and sportswear at the cutting edge of innovation with a refusal to compromise on attention to detail with every piece, designed with a precision of balance, function, form and fashion, reflecting the same design philosophy as Woolrich.
The Fish Tail Parka is the highlight of the collection; a 3-in-1 jacket, inspired by the iconic military US M51 parka, created in 1951. Made from a ripstop fabric used by the British Army, in which the exterior enlarges the Buffalo Check pattern or enhances the intense colors, such as ultramarine blue, while the inside is embellished by a digital camouflage print.
Completing the collection, the ultra-light Light Weigh Down Jacket with detachable sleeves inspired by the Teton family from Woolrich, and the modern and technical Loveland Reversible mountain parka, featuring eleven pockets and a hood hidden in the exquisitely contemporary waterproof and breathable zipper.
