Luttrell with the fire stache

Luttrell is gearing up to release his debut album as a solo artist Into Clouds on February 1 on Anjunadeep. He has already released two singles “Out Of Me” and “Quiet Even Dark” and now is set to release the LP title track “Into Clouds” tomorrow. Not one to wait all that long, we have the premiere for you today.

“Into Clouds” shines as the album title track, living up to its name and more. It may be the best and most complete record Luttrell has released so far, building over a bed of deep bass, ricocheting percussion and a sturdy bassline. The magic really starts with heavily reverbed stabs and soaring synths that gently glide up and down and then up again.

“Into Clouds” is like riding in a hot air balloon over a crisp, partly cloudy sunrise with a tapestry of red, yellow and orange topped trees glistening in the dawn mist. The ending of the song is you finally getting high enough to see for miles off into the distance with the world at your feet.

In addition to the album, Luttrell will also be going tour next winter to support the record. If you want to hear the new songs, check out the dates here. Pre-order Into Clouds in any format including vinyl with a cutout of his face on the sleeve.
