Future is back. After a somewhat quiet year by his standards (he didn’t release a genre-defining project), he has decided to kick off 2019 with his new album Future Hndrxx Presents: THE WIZRD. At 20 songs for just over an hour long, there a lot for Future to say.
The record has very few features with the only listed collaborations, Young Thug and Gunna on “Unicorn Purp” and Travis Scott on “First Off.” ATL Jacob, Southside, Wheezy, Tay Keith and TM88 handle a lot of the trap-heavy production.
The record has some big tracks like “Unicorn Purp,” “F&N,” “Faceshot” and “First Off.” The features are a nice addition since the record can drag a bit in the middle, but the length likely help this go number one next week. This is especially true since A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie went number one this past week after only selling 823 albums. Maybe Future felt the need to feed his fans after releasing two albums in 2017 and none in 2018.
The album focuses on his proclivity to sleep with women, as he says on “Krazy but True,” “I don’t have side bitches, they my bitches.” His many kids prove that point. He then focuses on his millions, customizable Bentleys and his aspirational life, including making more money than Dwayne Wade.
The album is available to stream below and can be picked up wherever you do that.
