Premiere: Hunter Reid's Debut EP 'My Bad' Is All Good

Psycho Disco's A&R steps out from behind the scenes to get the dance floor poppin'.
Hunter Reid

Hunter Reid is a fresh face in the house music scene but his finely tuned ear has been responsible for some of your best nights out. His latest, on Psycho Disco Records is his debut EP My Bad. The young Floridian lays down the womp on two wonderfully weird tunes.

"My Bad" leads the EP with a slinky rubber band bass accented by mischievous vocals and an ever-evolving bed of eerie effects and atmosphere.

Taking things up just a notch "Wuut" is anchored by a stomping kick drum and a bassline that fills out the sub in a way that will easily be felt all over your body in the club. He continues the theme of sprinkling his tunes with distorted slices of ear candy.

Hunter is helping fill out A&R duties for the tastemaker Psycho Disco Records. And to be completely fair his catalog, while small is looking quite fresh with remixes for Audiophile, Main Course, and Perfect Driver, as well as original releases on Box Of Cats and Dirtybird's Birdhouse imprint, Hunter is stepping out front to smash on those dance floors.
