Welcome to In Conversation, the podcast dedicated to giving you an unparalleled look into electronic music's greatest minds, both in the studio and beyond. We deconstruct their daily routines, fears, and quirks, showing you what makes them tick, and what exactly makes them so successful. From artists to managers, agents and promoters, these are the people who make it happen, pushing our community forward.

It's funny. When you sit to speak with very successful artists, you're never sure what to expect. Some have become jaded, others arrogant, but sometimes you speak with people who are so down to earth an engaging that it's almost off-putting. Take Apparat for example. He's been extremely successful both on his own and as part of the supergroup Moderat, garnering critical acclaim from both the underground and the mainstream. To be fair, I never go into an interview expecting my guests to be anything I mentioned above, but nonetheless, it's so refreshing to speak with people who have reached such high levels of success and are still just great people.

With his newest album LP5 just released, I had the chance to sit down with Sascha not too long ago to discuss the process of his first album since Moderate went on hiatus. In this episode, we discuss how all of his experience with the group, as well as making music for film helped him take LP5 to the next level. This was such a fun and entertaining episode of In Conversation, and I hope you really enjoy it. Please welcome, Apparat.
