It's a well-known fact that Los Angeles and techno go together like lamb and tuna fish. The illegal warehouse raves of the 90s and 00s helped define the genre both on the West Coast, and in the United States as a whole. But, as trends come and go, while it's always been around, the past five years have seen a huge resurgence for the genre in LA, taking over the biggest clubs in the city nearly every weekend. The question then is, who's making this happen? It seems like every day there are new parties and new promoters trying to get in on the action, but one such company who has quickly risen to the top is 6am, and their affiliate Synthetik Minds. They have huge strides in bringing some of Europe's finest underground artists to the streets of Los Angeles (think Perc, Tommy Four Seven, 999999999, Phase, etc) and have built a reputation for excellence with both artists and ravers alike.
