Peggy Gou is making moves. Peggy Gou launched her new label Gadu on Friday with a new single “Starry Night.” The single will be taken from an upcoming EP Midnight. In addition to the new music, she also launched a new collaboration with Ray-Bans.
“Starry Night” builds on the lane in house music that Peggy Gou is carving for herself with a base in classic house music with some notes of disco, swirling melodies and vocals to match. The song is fun, upbeat and built for the summer and probably the Miami week ahead. It is the first from an upcoming EP Midnight that will be released on April 19. Pick up the single here.
The label is named Gadu, a "a play on 'Gou do” or “Gou does.”
She also announced a new limited edition collaboration with Ray-Ban Studios. The sunglasses come in two sizes and tints: a dark, square pair and round gold one. They come with a gold sunglasses chain, complete with Gou’s initials. The glasses are available on the Ray-Ban website starting at $173-$223.
