Future Classic and Dropbox have teamed up on a new residency program in Los Angeles catered to unsigned artists.

In 2017, Future Classic opened up a North American office in Los Angeles to support their artists. It also helps Flume moved to LA around that time. The studio opened in 2018 with artists Jacques Greene, Ryan Hemsworth, Broods, Moses Sumney, Clairo, JPEGMAFIA, Clams Casino, Emma Louise and more all using the space.

"FC x Dropbox studios has been a creative hub for me recently, and It's allowed me to make some of the best music I ever have," rapper Reo Cragun says in a statement. "Everyone treats me like family and It's a positive environment."

The residency will run from July until December 2019. Six applicants will be chosen, one per month, to spend two weeks in Los Angeles at the studio. They will get creative assistance from the Future Classic team who will help set up writing sessions and connect the artist with other producers. They will also get to meet mentor-like figures across the music business like managers, labels, publishing executives and more.

This is available to artists worldwide. FC & Dropbox will pay for flights and accommodation in Los Angeles. Submissions can be made here through Dropbox.
