Kelly Moran has announced a new EP Origin, out next month on Warp. In addition to the EP, she has also released a new single “Night Music,” the last song on the seven-track EP.

The new EP comes from demos and unreleased tracks that were made during studio sessions for 2018’s LP Ultraviolet. The EP is named in tribute to world-renowned Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, who Moran considers to be one of her idols. The project is largely stripped-down acoustic tracks which were made at her home piano and recorded in one take.

"These recordings show firsthand my musical discoveries in real-time for when I was having my major creative breakthrough," says Moran in a statement.

The EP will be released on May 17 via Warp. See the full tracklist and check our her spring and summer tour dates at some interesting festivals around the globe here. Pick up "Night Music" anywhere you do that.
