UK dance veterans Ed Handley and Andy Turner aka Plaid have announced a their tenth album Polymer, which will be released on their label home for the past 22 years, Warp Records. To help push the record, they have released two tracks from the LP, “Maru” and “Recall.”

"The problems and benefits of polymers felt like good themes for this album," the duo says in a statement, "their repetitious strength, endurance and troubling persistence, the natural versus the synthetic, silk and silicone, the significant effect they have on our lives."

Over the 13 tracks, the album will cover a lot of ground including “energetic bangers” and “melodic visceral rhythms,” which were informed by “environment, synthetics, survival/mortality and humanity’s (dis)connection.” It is their take on the modern world.

The album will be released via Warp Records on June 7. Pre-order in vinyl, CD or digital here and see the complete tracklist below. Get a taste of what you will hear on the album with the two singles.
