Massive Attack played a DJ set for Extinction Rebellion over the weekend and it was put online for everyone to watch.

The surprise set took place on Sunday night at Marble Arch, where Extinction Rebellion has taken over for their protest.

The show started off with a live remix of Massive Attack’s 1991 song tackling climate change “Hymn Of The Big Wheel” (before it was cool).

For those who aren’t all that familiar with Extinction Rebellion, it is a movement that campaigns for measures to be taken by governments to fight off the doom of climate change. It started in the UK and has branched out internationally. They don’t want to hear promises in 30 years, but on a much shorter timeframe. Music is often played at night at the Marble Arch and Massive Attack just happened to be one of the guests.

The set was recorded and filmed with a 360 camera, so you spin it right round and see various angles.
