Welcome to In Conversation, the podcast dedicated to giving you an unparalleled look into electronic music's greatest minds, both in the studio and beyond. We deconstruct their daily routines, fears, and quirks, showing you what makes them tick, and what exactly makes them so successful. From artists to managers, agents and promoters, these are the people who make it happen, pushing our community forward.
There are some people in this industry who wear so many hats, it's amazing they are able to keep themselves from exploding. Imagine not only being the manager for one of electronic music's most coveted labels, being a factor in them becoming so massive, and also overseeing tones of other labels via a separate role at a major music distribution company. Such is the life of Deron Delgado, manager (amongst other things) at Dirtybird Records, and Paradise Distribution. In this episode, we discuss his entering into electronic music, how he helped Dirtybird become the power player it is now, and how he keeps his head on straight with so much responsibility.
*Special thanks to Izotope for providing their new RX7 Advanced suite with the post-production of this episode. There was loads of wind on the beach, but I was able to remove it using the De-wind feature on RX7. For more information, click here.
