New York City is getting another outdoor venue for this summer. DEG Presents (formerly RPM Presents) is opening a new venue on Coney Island called AMUSE. The 4,000 capacity concert space will be located near the Coney Island Art Walls and hold its events inside a custom 20,000 square foot tent (see renderings).

The venue will book dance acts and DJs, sticking with the legacy of RPM Presents (now DEG) that also operates Brooklyn club Schimanski. It will also be open for private events of various types.

“Anyone who knows me, knows I've always loved Coney Island. I’m really excited to work with the Greenwood Park Team. They have been doing a great job. By combining all of our resources, we will do some exciting things," says DEG Presents owner Eddie Dean in a statement.

The bookings have not been announced yet, but it will open in over Memorial Day Weekend this year.
