Sebastian Unveils Single With Gallant 'Run For Me,' New Album Coming This Fall

Sebastian is back.

Sebastian is back. After eight years of working on other projects and now presumably his own, beloved Ed Banger producer Sebastian is ready to release a new album this fall. To help get people primed for the follow up to Total, he has released the track and video for a new collaboration with Gallant titled “Run For Me.”

The track is dark and soulful with deep bass growls and Gallant’s voice carrying the tune. The video carries the dark theme that you would expect from Sebastian, especially during this rollout. Two young lovers are speeding down some road in a car with reckless abandon, the cops get involved and things don’t always end well in that scenario. Get your copy here.

The tune came together in one day according to the Frenchman.

“We made it in one day, in one take without stopping. The melody evolved wherever it seemed to want to go all by itself,” explains Sebastian in a statement. “I tracked Gallant down for the vocals because he shared the same power and logic that the song aimed to have and I wasn’t disappointed. The song really came into its own when the vocals were laid down on the track.”

The follow up to 2011’s Total will be released this fall via Ed Banger Records / Because Music. Stay tuned for more details about the record. He previously released the single “Thirst” last week.
