Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start to festival season and with that also comes the annual pilgrimage to the birthplace of techno, Detroit. Movement is ready to take over Hart Plaza and the city with another massive lineup that includes names like Hot Since 82, Green Velvet & Claude VonStroke’s duo Get Real, Charlotte De Witte, ANNA, Loco Dice, Tale of Us, Seth Troxler, Chris Liebing and so many more.

The lineup includes loads of live performances and special back to backs. Kevin Saunderson will go b2b with The Saunderson Brothers, while Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber and Paco Osuna will all go back to back. There are plenty of intriguing live acts like Octave One, Floorplan, Kenny Larkin, Orbital and Stephan Bodzin. Continuing tradition, there will be a smattering of hip-hop by the likes of Gucci Mane, Danny Brown and Sam Austins.

Movement will take place at its home Hart Plaza in Detroit over Memorial Day Weekend from May 25-27. The music will be spread across five stages. There will be an area where people can try out DJ gear from 10 different brands and local artists will showcase their work on the grounds, notably Kevin Lyons.

Tickets are still on sale now, so get them before you miss out. The festival has already released its set times and you will be in for some tough choices across the five stages.
