The up & coming NYC-crew run grassroots festival that is Elements Music & Arts Festival marks its third year in Lakewood, PA. Having been attending the festival since its conception has definitely given Magnetic Magazine a first account view of the growth and progress from the festival. It has even known amongst the local East Coast scene that when it comes to Elements Festival, expect nothing short of theatric decor and uniquely crafted stage designs.
This year was no different, the three-day festival re-vamped their stage/production set-ups with upgraded stage designs with more mini-stages in addition to the four original ones, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. This year's line up had heavy hitter names such as Disclosure, Fisher, Shiba San, Justin Martin, Big Gigantic, Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, and Francesca Lombardo. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Sofi Tukker was unable to make it for her set (check out Elements' Instagram for more info). Alongside the big acts, the festival brought in some incredible live talent that we generally do not get a chance to see here in the US such as, Monolink, Kerala Dust, and Stavroz.
The Elements Festival crew have managed to do more than put together a festival, they have over the course of three years created an environment almost solely unique to the festival which as a result led to the most important aspect: the crowd. Three days at Elements Festival is almost like being at a big, rowdy family reunion with all your weird cousins who like to where flamboyantly colorful attire. And I promise you, you'd love it. The overall vibe of your surroundings combined with such an open and friendly audience leaves for such a wonderful experience, you might even forget who were planning on seeing. Pair that with joy-like innocense of being on a former children's campgrounds overlooking a beautiful lake and you basically have almost near entered paradise - minus the mud.
Don't believe us? Check out some of the images of the grounds and the stages this past weekend:

However, let's not forget what really makes the festival great! All the wonderful people and crowd's vibes - not to mention the glorious characters afoot throughout the days. And if you wanted some space from music there were many things that would keep you busy during the day:

For the third year in a row - Elements Festival managers to prove a couple of things;
1 - Camping with your friends at a festival is AWESOME!
2 - More festivals should have access to a body of water for some sun-soaking and swimming while jammin' to dope music!
3 - A festival is more than the line-up, it is the overall experience of being at one!
4 - No festival is successful without its crowd and hands down the festival here has one of the best crowd vibes!
We are excited to see what Elements Festival will have in store for 2020!
