Today, Native Instruments has finally released their much anticipated Massive X virtual synth, the successor to the much loved Massive. While successor might sound like they will be killing the original, fear not, as NI views Massive X as an addition to the massive family. There are many familiar features, but X has been built completely from scratch and shares no similar architecture to the original. Although the wavetables have been around for years, Massive helped popularize wavetable synthesis in today's production culture, and is the foundation for many dubstep and drum & bass tracks you know and love. Check out the intro video below, and be sure to grab your copy here.
