Premiere: Mike Dunn - "If I Can't Get Down"

Funky and uplifting vibes on this premiere taken from Mike Dunn's forthcoming LP
Mike Dunn by Jos Kottmann

Historically speaking, Mike Dunn may be most well-known for the timeless '94 anthem "God Made Me Phunky" but if you know anything about the Chicago stalwart, he's been living a three-decade plus legacy with countless, relevant contributions to house music since way back in '87. But with only one full-length under his belt, the accomplished producer is getting ready to drop the follow up to 1990's Free Your Mind with his very long awaited follow-up titled, My House From All Angles. His first full length in nearly 30 years which already saw a vinyl release in late 2017 except now it's getting a full digital release on the one and only, Classic Music Company.

With the full digital release on Classic Music Company this coming Friday, comes three brand-new digital exclusives including one which we have the online premiere for. The tune is titled "If I Can't Get Down" and in definitive Mike Dunn fashion he not only cut the tune but he rapped the vocals as well for this modern, hip-house cut suitable for any floor deserving of something funky and up-lifting.
