Belgian techno star Charlotte De Witte is expanding her KNTXT brand with a new label by the same name.
The label follows a KNTXT radio show and party series.
The new label will launch in September with an unnamed release. It aims to be an inclusive (not always the case in techno) home for progressive and vibrant techno. In a press release, the label says it will value “purity and strength.”
“It’s been humbling and exciting to see KNTXT grow as party concept and radio show over the past 5 years and now I’m thrilled to announce its expansion with the launch of this new label,” says de Witte in a statement.
The label will be a home for her productions as well as others from her favorite artists or new rising acts.
“A label has always felt like the logical and natural next step for KNTXT, both as a place to shine the light on the music that I love and as a home for my own productions. I’m looking forward to sharing the sounds of my favorite artists, some who’ve been around for a while and others who are just starting out, but all of who represent a sound that I really love. In time, I hope the label will become a respected breeding ground and safe haven for unique talent, both new and established, as well as the main output for my own material.”
