For the past five years or so, the Mayan Warrior art car has been driven from Mexico City all the way up to Burning Man to cast its alluring beauty on the blank canvas of Northern Nevada's Black Rock Desert. As of last year though, it now makes a well-deserved pit stop in the City of Angels and this coming Saturday will be the second annual appearance with Stranger Than once again on co-production duties.
Last year's edition took place in Downtown L.A. at Grand Park with artists like Rebolledo of Pachanga Boys and Heidi Lawden but this year is expected to be just a bit more special thanks to their new locale just a few miles away at the historic monument, El Pueblo De Los Angeles. And in addition to the new venue, all of Los Angeles Street will be closed down for the event making way for an expanded footprint, which will include a couple of additional areas to explore such as a vendor area dedicated to Burning Man shopping and a wellness area specifically for an opening ceremony. As for the talent this time around, expect some pleasant surprises because Mayan Warrior has never skimped on the quality nor the talent alike.
