July's chart is loaded with hot summer tunes including three scorchers from the Defected camp.

In true summer fashion, house music is awash with big, bright, catchy tunes and many are represented here in July's house chart. Highlights include the mighty, chart-topper, "Joys" by Robert Surace, the rave anthem, "Feelin' Good" by Chambray and Laurent Garnier, and of course, the Sasha-esque, "Tilted" by Hot Since 82.

1. "TILTED" - HOT SINCE 82 [KNEE DEEP IN SOUND]

If you were able to catch Hot Since 82's blazing hot Essential Mix this past March, then your ears were treated to the world premiere of this particular goose-bump inducing beauty. The tune is titled is "Tilted" and it serves as track #2 on his long-awaited full-length, 8-Track

2. "FEELIN' GOOD" - LAURENT GARNIER & CHAMBRAY [REKIDS]

Chambray's dream collaboration with dance music icon, Laurent Garnier will have you more than just feeling good. The lead piano line is utterly insatiable and nearly deserving of an award. 

3. "JOYS" - ROBERTO SURACE [DEFECTED]

Far too often, tunes are prematurely anointed as tunes of the summer as early as March. This one though, just dropped on Defected halfway into the season and it's about as addictive as they come. With an SOS Band vocal sample from '86 and a straight-forward rhythm, it'll have you yearning for it all the way home from the club.

4. "CRYSTAL CLEAR" - CAMELPHAT, RIVA STARR FEAT. URSULA RUCKER [SNATCH!]

A dance music super-duo, a house music expert, and a spoken word poet all got together and crafted this absolutely large tune which can and will go off in any environment.

5. "WALKING AWAY" - LOODS [CLASSIC MUSIC COMPANY]

Solomun's doppelgänger is Australian producer, DJ Loods and he's crafted this wonderful marriage between house and disco titled, "Walking Away." 

6. "EERBAWDY WANTS TO DEESZKO" - DEMUIR [HOT CREATIONS]

Track four on Demuir's debut via Hot Creations couldn't be farther from the truth. 

7. "BIG LOVE (DAVID PENN EXTENDED REMIX)" - PETE HELLER'S BIG LOVE [DEFECTED]

Pete Heller's beloved dance classic from '98 gets a beefy update from the rework maestro himself, David Penn!

8. "IRREVERSIBLE" - MATCHY [KATERMUKKE]

Put on your best pair of headphones for this wonderful ride through arpeggiation. 

9. "NATA ALMA (CLUB SMASH HIT VERSION)" -  ROBAG WRUHME [PAMPA]

Robag Wruhme's recently released full-length, Venq Tolep features this absolute beauty titled, "Nata Alma."

10. "XTC" - SOLARDO, ELI BROWN [ULTRA]

Manchester duo, Solardo along with Bristol's Eli Brown partnered up for this total floor weapon reminiscent of days past.

11. "UNDER MY CONTROL" - JAMIE JONES [HOTTRAX]

Jamie Jones' rarely used Hottrax imprint sees a compilation EP with this Janet Jackson sampled banger leading the charge.

12. "JOHN'S CHURCH (CASSIUS XXL REMIX)" - OLIVER DOLLAR FEATURING NILS OHRMANN [CLASSIC MUSIC COMPANY]

In bittersweet fashion, we present you with a heavy-hitting remix courtesy of French duo, Cassius. Rest in peace, Zdar. The music you created will live on forever.   

13. "BLESSED" - DAVID JACKSON [DFTD]

Defected's offshoot, DFTD flexes their talent muscle with a debut from a young rising star known as David Jackson.

14. "DANCE ALONE (OLIVIER GIACOMOTTO REMIX)" - 8KAYS FEAT. TONE OF ARC [ELEATICS]

San Francisco's Tone Of Arc teamed up with Ukrainian producer, 8Kays and the result is a spoken word gem that features two very excellent remixes including this very one by none other than Olivier Giacomotto!

15. "CALL OF THE WILD (CINTHIE REMIX)" - DETROIT SWINDLE [HEIST]

In the early portion of July, Detroit Swindle released a mini-remix album for their most recent full-length, High Life. Six tracks in all were selected and the highlight of the collection is this very loose and groovy revision by up-and-comer, Cinthie!
