The two-tracker features opposing sides of modern techno with a hypnotic cut in “Liquid Slow” and then a tough and powerful record “In Memory.”
The pair have been doing gigs together and back to backs for some time, so the collaboration makes sense. The idea for this came from a chat at Awakenings last year and then they got to work.
“I field-recorded the sound of a crane that was already taking stuff down next to us and thought it would be a good starting point,“ says Chris. It didn’t make it to this recording, but he hints, "who knows, maybe there is more in the pipeline, I still have the recording".
Liquid Slow will be released on September 27 via De Witte’s label KNTXT.
