Innovative UK synth maker Modal recently announced a new addition to their product line, the Argon8. Known for their premiere quality instruments, and more recently entry-level synths, the Argon8 takes everything they've built and put it into a true 8-voice polyphonic digital wavetable synth, at a price that is accessible to many. Modal's instruments have always been second to none when it comes to depth, and the Argon8 is a prime example of that.
To help make things a bit easier, and to allow for full and true integration to your setup, there is also an accompanying VST. As mentioned earlier, Modal has long been known for its high-end gear, which comes with an equally high pricepoint that is inaccessible for most. More recently, they introduced much loved entry-level synths like the Craft and Skulpt lines, which the Argon8 also borrows heavily from. In the case of the Argon8, the price is surprisingly below $1000, a first for any synth of this capability across the board. Below are some key features, as well as an intro video from Modal and Sonic State.
