Ninja Tune Announces First-Ever Hardware Effect Created By A Label

Today, forward-thinking record label Ninja Tune has announced their first-ever hardware effect unit, the Zen Delay, in partnership with leading modular synth company Erica Synths. The dub delay box is built to be equally at home in both the studio and the stage. It's similar in form to the Erica Synths Fusion Box and fuses analog and digital into a small desktop box. 


Inspired by a trip to Berlin’s trailblazing music hardware trade show Superbooth, Coldcut’s Matt Black and longtime friend Dr. Walker (Liquid Sky artist collective / Air Liquide) envisaged the exciting possibilities of a custom hardware effects unit. The result is the creation of the Zen Delay — the first-ever hardware effects unit produced in collaboration with an electronic music label. Check out the demo video below.
