Original founders of Craft Beer Rising festival are launching a new festival, BrewLDN. The new beer festival will feature 150 different brewers from around the world.
It will be more than just drinking beer. There will be two trade sessions and four public sessions with 200 exhibitor stands. DJ Artwork will host a pop up pub with a few of his friends.
“Everyone loves drinking beer in their local pub so I thought what a great opportunity to expand Art’s House and open my own pop up pub right inside the Truman Brewery,” says DJ Artwork in a press release. “Expect garish sticky carpets, comfy sofas, wallpaper only a pub could pull off, great chat, games, much frivolity and of course all of us raving together as a family at a right old knees up in our local boozer!”
BrewLDN also announces BrewAccelerator, which is a search for the next generation of beer business. If you have been making beer for less than a year, submit your business plan online and industry judges will judge and choose a winner. The winner will win a year of guidance and mentoring (they value this at $50,000) and a stand in the main room at BrewLDN 2020.
Some of the breweries for 2020 have already been announced. There will be Cassels, Brooklyn brewery, To ØI Brewery, Big Drop Brewing, Mothership, and more local brands like Brixton Brewery, London Fields Brewery, Aberdeen's Fierce Beer, Tiny Rebel in Wales, SALT from Saltaire, Harbour Brewing Cornwall, Brew York and the Padstow Brewing Co.
BrewLDN will take place The Old Truman Brewery in London February 27-29, so you will need some beer warmth then. Get tickets here.
Since you will get hungry drinking all of this beer, there will be some food trucks & stands by Kansas City BBQ, Prairie Fire BBQ, Serious Pig and more.
