Cairo Liberation Front

Cairo Liberation Front (CLF) was started by Yannick Verhoeven and Joep Schmitz, two Dutch devotees of Egyptian electro-cha3bi. It has evolved into a trio with the addition of Iraqi-born, Netherlands-raised singer Bagdaddy, who adds her own fiery vocals to their projects. The enigmatic trio has carved a very unique path for themselves in the music business. They are releasing a new EP later this month titled Eurabia Vol. 2 and a new track from it “Basha” is out today.

The new single channels their eclectic sound with Arabic electronic music, channeled through ‘90s rave culture and breakbeats.

“Basha” is out today and the five-track Eurabia Vol. 2 will be released in two weeks on October 18.
