The Gorillaz have released the first trailer for their upcoming documentary film called Reject False Icons.
The documentary follows Gorillaz on their travels over the past three years. In that span, they released Humanz in 2017 and The Now Now in 2018. Denholm Hewlett, the son of Gorillaz co-founder Jamie Hewlett, directed the film.
“The result is the first ever all-access immersive journey into the world of Gorillaz and its extended family – featuring never-seen footage, where the virtual meets the real,” says a press release.
Reject False Icons will hit theaters for one night only on December 16. Fans can head to the band’s website for tickets and info on which theaters are screening.
