London arts space, The Barbican, is gearing up to host an exhibition about Tangerine Dream. Founded in 1967, the group became a pioneering electronic act, helping to forge a future with synth-heavy, downtempo and melodic tracks
According to the event description, the exhibit will show unseen footage, original music and unpublished articles to help explore the impact London had on their music in the 1970s.
“Through uncovered photographs and videos, original synthesizers, cassettes and vinyl, this exhibition reveals London's key role in the international breakthrough of Tangerine Dream during the 1970s,” says the explanation.
Tangerine Dream: Zeitraffer will take place from January 16 to May 2, 2020 at the Barbican Library. It will be free. Get more info on their website.
