The Flexispot Comhar Pro Standing Desk Q8 is a fully-featured standing desk built to support even the heaviest of monitors, computer towers, and more. I’ve been using it as my desk for gaming every day for the last few weeks to help you decide if it’s a worthy sit-stand desk for gamers.

What Is The Flexispot Comhar Pro Standing Desk Q8?

The Comhar Pro Q8 is a height-adjustable desk packed with quality-of-life features such as wireless charging built directly onto the desktop. In addition to the wireless charging on top, the integrated console has 2 USB charging ports, both Type-A and C. This makes it simple to charge your phone simultaneously with other accessories. A drawer in front of the desk can easily store your cables, pens, and the all-important screwdriver.

The Comhar Pro Q8 is height adjustable from 24 inches up to 49.2 inches to ensure a wide range of user heights will feel comfortable at this desk. The desk achieves this through a 3 stage design in its hydraulic legs. This also keeps the desk extremely stable even at its max height and with its max capacity. The Pro Q8 can hold up to 220 pounds and has a 55”x28” bamboo top to ensure ample space for all of your accessories.

What I loved About The Comhar Pro Q8

We had the opportunity to install and use the The Comhar Pro Q8 in our gaming studio for a few weeks, and we quickly discovered that there was a lot to like about this sleek and stylish standing desk. And while there was a lot of standout features of this desk, a few are specifically worth mentioning.

Here are our three favorite aspects of the Comhar Pro Q8.

Build Quality

The Comhar Pro Standing Desk Q8 is built like a tank. From the moment I started building the desk, which was very simple by the way, I could tell this thing would be solid even when put up to around 45” where I keep it when I’m standing. Most standing desks get quite wobbly at that height, but the Comhar Pro Q8 stayed remarkably stable.

To stress test this even further I put my PC tower, PS5, 28” monitor and a variety of other accessories on it and it still stayed quite stable. The bamboo top looks great and it seemed to withstand the few times I accidentally dropped a controller or spilled my coffee. Swapping between sitting and standing positions was smooth I never felt like any of my things were in danger of tipping over. Just make sure you have a second person to help you put the desk together or move it, that stability and top-notch build quality equates to a lot of weight.

Embedded Drawer

The Comhar Pro Standing Desk Q8 comes packed with features aimed at making your everyday usage that much better. Among my favorites was the embedded drawer built into the front of the desk. It was remarkably smooth to operate and had just enough space to keep the things I use almost daily, but don’t like taking up precious desktop real estate.

Inside the drawer, I was able to store my screwdriver set, instruction manuals for various PC components, my notebook, pens, USB sticks, and more. I never knew how nice it would be to store my LG OLED TV remote out of sight during gaming sessions. No more accidentally setting my coffee cup on the remote causing a spill.

Charging Options

The Comhar Pro Q8 is loaded with ways to keep your devices charged up. It has a wireless charging pad built directly into the desktop where I set my phone during play sessions to keep it topped up. In addition, it has 1 USB Type-A and 1 USB Type-C port on the front console.

I loved this feature because it meant I could power off my PC but plug my wireless mouse charging cord into the desk to charge overnight. When I came back, the mouse was charged and I could store the cable in the embedded drawer out of sight. I really applaud Flexispot for putting USB-C in the desk as well, as I hope the industry keeps pushing toward it being the standard. This will figure proof the desk.

What I Wasn’t Crazy About

If I could highlight an area that I didn’t feel hit the highest marks for the desk, it would be its cable management options. The Comhar Pro Q8 provided a cable management tray underneath the desk, but it doesn’t run the entire length, leaving me with not enough space to hide all my cables and a power strip.

Additionally, as a gamer, having cable management drops at the top of the desk would have been an excellent choice to keep things looking clean.

Should You Buy The Comhar Pro Q8?

Despite its high price tag, the Comhar Pro Q8 is definitely worth considering for those who demand the best. This desk is perfect for those who spend long hours at their desk and need a comfortable and ergonomic workspace. The desk features a sturdy and durable construction, ensuring that it will last for many years to come. The stability of the desk is unparalleled, which is essential for those who require a rock-solid workspace. The desk also features a wealth of quality-of-life features that make it a great option for anyone who wants to improve their workspace.

One area where the desk falls short is its cable management system, which may not be ideal for gamers who require a tidy and organized workspace. However, this is a minor issue, and the benefits of the desk far outweigh this small disadvantage. Overall, the Comhar Pro Q8 is an excellent choice for anyone in search of a high-quality standing desk that offers ultimate stability, an abundance of quality life features, and an ergonomic workspace.
