Laurens Elshof, aka Lavern, is a 22 yo producer and DJ from the Netherlands. Introduced to EDM music through Armin Van Buuren’s “Intense” and Avicii’s “True” albums, he started producing music on his computer at age 13, obsessed with making songs that could procure other people the same feeling EDM music was making him feel. After attending an Afrojack set at the Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands, he started DJing and organizing his parties.
In 2021, Laurens started his musical journey as Lavern with an opening track that reached more than 10M streams (Move Me) and went viral on Instagram Reels (more than 450k videos).
Release after release, working closely with French Record Label Get The Sound, he’s developed an audience of 1.1M monthly listeners on Spotify and reached more than 27M streams, thanks to his unique summer chill house music. Living in a small village surrounded by woods near Amsterdam, nature is Lavern’s principal source of inspiration. This influence shaped his music in the way he combines dance and energetic nightlife vibes with more chill and solar feelings.
And this is precisely how his brand new single, Hold Me took life. Halfway between Chill and Stutter House, Hold Me is a powerful tune that enhances the feelings we need: freedom and love. Already viewed more than 1,5M times on TikTok, Hold Me generates curiosity and watchful waiting of both its ambassadors and brand new emerging community.
