Roland Lifestyle, the lifestyle partner brand of Roland Corporation, the world’s most iconic electronic musical instrument brand, announced an ongoing partnership with the World Famous Beat Junkies Crew, an American hip-hop crew of DJs specializing in turntablism.

To kick off the partnership, Roland Lifestyle launched a limited three-piece capsule celebrating the legacy of the Beat Junkies and all they have accomplished for the DJing culture over the last three decades. The capsule launched on Friday, April 14th, during the NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) and was featured in the Beat Junkies booth along with DJ sets from the Beat Junkie Crew members. The capsule consists of a t-shirt featuring photographs of nine crew members (J-Rocc, Icy Icy, Babu, Rettmattic, Mr Choc, D-Styles, Curse, and Melo-D) and a choir jacket that features one of the original Beat Junkies logos.

“This partnership is about celebrating the Beat Junkies Crew and the impact it has had on Hip Hop and the DJ culture of the last 3 decades,” says Nathan Chandra, Creative Director at Roland Lifestyle. “This is just a taste of what is to come from this partnership, so stay tuned for some real special pieces as we continue the legacy of both Roland and the World Famous Beat Junkies.”

“Originator” T-Shirt will be selling for $38 and Junkie Roland Jacket will be sold for $140. For more details on the Roland Lifestyle x Beat Junkies collaboration, please visit either the Roland Lifestyle or Beat Junkies online store at 12pm PT on April, 14, 2023.
