Can you tell us about your recent spirituality-focused DJ set on Cafe De Anatolia’s YouTube channel?
It all began with my friend and talented producer Tebra introducing me to Nikola Iliev at Cafe De Anatolia, who expressed interest in the music scene in Tulum. We exchanged ideas on how to align the sound of Cafe De Anatolia with my own. I was interested in video sets inspired by Viken Arman’s Cercle set in France, which blended music with nature. Tulum’s energy and vibe have significantly influenced my sound, so it felt natural to merge these two elements. The location of Delek was an obvious choice, as my friend Ana and her team are fully committed to maintaining a high vibrational field in this stunning Tulum community.
The set I created is a story composed of tracks from my favorite artists, creating a mosaic of sounds, frequencies, and emotions that convey the energy of my vision and intention. I am grateful to all the artists who created these tracks, Nikola Iliev at Cafe De Anatolia and Patrik Khach at Pipe & Pochet, for their support. Collaborating with Dominique and Hernan was crucial, as I wanted to blend electronic sounds with live instruments and voice. Dominique’s sound was precisely what I envisioned for this set, and Hernan’s experience with sacred instruments powerfully completed this hybrid band.
In conclusion, this project came together synchronously, which I believe is strongly reflected in the energy of the video.

How do you think music can create a sense of relaxation and inner peace?
I believe that music can transport us to a different state of mind. It can evoke emotions and memories, and when we listen to music that resonates with us, it can help us let go of stress and connect with our inner selves.
In my experience, music can be a form of meditation. It lets us focus on the present moment and let go of worries and distractions. The right combination of sounds, frequencies, and rhythms can create a flow state, leading us to experience profound calmness and serenity.
Moreover, music has been used for centuries as a healing tool in different cultures. It can help us release emotional blockages, reduce anxiety and depression, and increase our well-being. The spiritual significance of musical traditions can be exemplified through sacred instruments such as the Armenian duduk, Ney flute and African Ngoni, which hold a unique frequency and energy.
Playing these instruments is considered a form of spiritual practice, as the unique sounds they produce can transport us to a state of heightened consciousness, where we can connect with the universe on a deeper level.

Being associated with a respected and established label like Cafe de Anatolia gives me an influential platform to showcase my music. The label’s extensive following means that my music can be exposed to a broader audience, leading to increased visibility and greater potential for reaching new listeners.

We can create something unique that captures listeners’ attention by sharing our musical ideas and creative visions. We can grow as artists and expand our reach in the music industry through collaboration.
What inspires you to continue creating music in this genre?
My inspiration to continue creating music in this genre comes from the constant evolution and innovation in the music industry. The vastness of electronic music and its sub-genres provides endless possibilities for creativity and experimentation. I find exploring new sounds, experimenting with various instruments, and collaborating with other artists to create unique compositions fascinating.
Moreover, the exhilarating energy and bond that forms between the crowd and me during a live show motivate me. Being able to interpret and react to the audience’s energy, molding and alchemizing the ambiance on the dance floor, is one of my favorite parts of being an artist. Witnessing the audience lose themselves in the music, connecting, and experiencing pure joy is an irreplaceable feeling. This compels me to develop soundscapes that unite people, instill positivity, and move people emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Music has always played a critical role in providing comfort and solace to people worldwide. Music has become a powerful coping mechanism for those dealing with distress and uncertainty through its ability to evoke emotions and stir feelings in listeners.
