BOSS announces the ME-90 Guitar Multiple Effects, a comprehensive, easy-to-use tool offering guitarists the power to sculpt their sound with the ease of a traditional pedalboard. Building on the three-decade legacy of the BOSS ME series, the ME-90 represents the pinnacle of technological advancements in the series, boasting 24-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating-point processing, high-quality AIRD amp models, an effects loop, and IR loading. Compact, battery-operated, and loaded with premium BOSS tones, the ME-90 provides the perfect all-in-one solution for crafting a customized sound setup for any playing situation.
The ME-90’s intuitive interface offers diverse effects, enabling guitarists to tailor their tone to suit their style. It comes packed with 36 preset patches featuring professional-quality tones ready to be used instantly and 36 user patches for storing custom configurations. The processor’s panel includes 30 different knobs, providing hands-on control to create and fine-tune tones with the same ease as using a traditional pedalboard.

The ME-90 features an extensive library of BOSS effects, spanning seven categories and 60 effect types derived from the flagship GT-1000. Over 20 additional effects are accessible via the BOSS Tone Studio. An included send/return loop, perfect for incorporating external pedals, allows players to save the on/off status in patches and position the loop anywhere in the signal chain. Alongside its effects, the ME-90 offers eleven onboard amp models, driven by advanced AIRD technology, for authentic tube tone and responsive touch.
In addition to its sound-shaping capabilities, the ME-90 features eight footswitches with an integrated toe-switch expression pedal for smooth, silent operation. In Memory mode, guitarists can activate entire patch setups with a single footswitch, while Manual mode offers direct on/off control for each effect category. BOSS Tone Studio enables users to organize patches, edit tones, and even download professional setups from BOSS Tone Central. The ME-90 also supports the optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor, which allows users to stream music from a mobile device and wirelessly adjust tones using the dedicated BTS editor app.
Lighter than its predecessor but as durable as ever, the ME-90 is designed to handle any playing situation. Its redesigned expression pedal offers greater control over parameter adjustments. Whether powered by four AA batteries or an optional AC adaptor, the ME-90 is prepared to deliver an unparalleled tonal experience for guitarists.
